NAICS 2022 → proposed 2027 changes

CodeAtlas currently treats NAICS 2022 as the active Census edition. On July 13, 2026, OMB published the ECPC recommendations for a possible 2027 revision. Those recommendations are proposals, not final classifications.

Status as of 2026-09-07

The OMB notice says final changes resulting from the proposal process will be published in the Federal Register. Until that happens, the 2022 Census NAICS remains the current reference used throughout CodeAtlas.
